Guide Review - Uno Review (XBLA)
Uno on the Xbox Live Arcade features the core gameplay we have come to love from the simple yet fun card game. You have a deck filled with four different colors of numbered cards along with special cards that let you make another player draw two, reverse the direction of the game, skip the next player, draw four wild card, and wild card. The object of the game is to try to get rid of all of the cards in your hand by playing the same color or the same number (of any color) as the person before you. Strategy comes into play when you can use the penalty cards (draw two and draw four) to keep other players from winning. It seems simple and goofy, but it is amazingly fun.In Uno on the Xbox 360 you can adjust the rules for things like progressive penalties (if you have a draw two or draw four in your hand when one is played on you, you can pass the penalty to the next person), how many cards you have to draw if you can't play, and more. You can play free-for-all or you can do partner Uno where the person sitting across from you is your partner which changes the strategy quite a bit.
You can play Uno in single player agaisnt the AI (which is surprisingly good) or you can jump online and play on Xbox Live. I highly recommend playing online because it is such a great and fun social event. Trash talking and just joking around and having fun is an absolute blast.
You can sit back and relax and have a great time with Uno so it is definitely worth the 400 points.
