This is the big question right before a launch. All I can really offer here are my personal opinions and reasons why Im getting one, so bear with me. First off, Im an adult with a fair bit of disposable income, so I can afford it. If you have to really break the bank to get one or you decide to sell off your Xbox and all of your games, I wouldnt recommend getting one yet. Keep playing your Xbox because there are a whole lot of really good games already out for it thatll keep you busy for quite a while at a considerably lower cost. Secondly, I am really genuinely interested in playing the games that are on offer. I want to play Perfect Dark Zero, Project Gotham Racing 3, Kameo, Elder Scrolls IV, Quake 4, and Dead or Alive 4 and the Xbox 360 is the only console youll be getting these on. The other launch games such as Gun and Call of Duty 2 look great as well.
And that really is the bottom line. If you are interested in these games, you should buy one. If you can look at the launch list or upcoming game lists and you cant find anything you like, then dont get it. Games and gameplay should ultimately be the deciding factor and, as far as Im concerned, the Xbox 360 is where its at.
