The 1.8.2+ update for the Xbox Live Arcade version of Minecraft went live today, and it is pretty massive. It adds Creative mode (fly around your world and you have infinite blocks of any type in the game to use - can play in already established worlds or new worlds including a "super flat" type), hunger, new enemies, new food items, farmable pumpkins and melons, new biomes (swamp, ocean, mountains), and more. Also nice are options to turn off clouds as well as rename your save files (thank you!).
We loved Minecraft back when we originally reviewed the XBLA version (see Minecraft XBLA review here) but this new update makes it significantly bigger and better and now we're going to be hooked all over again.
