When all hell breaks loose thanks to a dagger that can control time, it is up to the Prince to try and set things right. As he explores he will be faced with many challenges such as spinning blades, spikes in the floor, fire, and much more. Luckily, the Prince has a few tricks of his own. He can run horizontally along walls to cross gaps as well as leap from ledge to ledge or even climb and jump from poles.

Your goal in Prince of Persia is basically to make it from Point A to Point B. There are ledges and poles and horizontal bars to swing from and it is up to you to figure out how to use them all to get to your destination. If and when you mess up, you have the ability to rewind time and try a section over. Since you can rewind your mistakes and there isn't much variety in the puzzles, PoP doesn't provide much of a challenge.

Combat is similarly easy. You can roll and dodge enemy attacks and, of course, hack and slash with your own sword and dagger. There are a lot of moves, but only a handful of which are really effective, so fighting isn't very thrilling.

Despite not being very challenging and a lack of variety, Prince of Persia is still well worth checking out. It is a very impressive experience that is absolutely worth playing through at least once.
