Guide Review - Knights of the Old Republic
The best part about KOTOR is how much it really makes you feel like a Jedi. You have to build your own lightsaber and you can upgrade it with jewels you find in your travels. You can learn new Jedi powers such as healing, speed, mind tricks, and even dark side spells such as force lightning. Perhaps the greatest thing that KOTOR does is that you can choose to follow the light side or dark side of the force. By choosing differennt responses in conversations or the way you handle certain situations, you can be either good or evil. There are different events and special endings for for the dark and light side as well.
There are a ton of things to do in KOTOR as well. Along with the assigned missions that move the story along, there are also several side quests to take care of as well. These side quests include everything from helping people in distress to becoming a bounty hunter for a mysterious secret organization. And all of these missions play out differently whether you are a good guy or a bad guy.
KOTOR has excellent replay value as well. To see everything you have to play through at least twice, and the game is so fun that you'll likely play through it several times more. Knights of the Old Republic is simply an excellent game and a msut have for Star Wars fans.
