In addition to playing games, Kinect will allow you to control your movies and other Xbox 360 dashboard activities. You can either move your hands to select items and change menus, or you can speak your commands out loud and Kinect will recognize them. By saying "Xbox" out loud, voice commands for all of the onscreen items will be displayed. You then say that specific voice command and Kinect will start playing your movie or set up a video chat or whatever else.
Kinect is scheduled for release on November 4th, 2010 exclusively for Xbox 360.
