Win a Trip to E3 from Xbox.com

By , About.com Guide

Microsoft today announced a contest sponsored by Xbox.com and Xbox Live that will send a couple of lucky winners to the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles this May. Normally, E3 is only open to people working in the games industry, but this is your chance to get in and live every gamers' dream.

The first contest is to be an apprentice for Xbox.com. There will be no “You’re Fired” with that famous Trump finger point in this Apprentice contest. For one lucky gamer, it will be all things E3. Xbox.com is sending out the call for gamers to enter the Xbox version of The Apprentice. The winner will attend this year’s event and experience it up close and personal while going behind the scenes and lending a helping hand to Xbox.com’s Major Nelson and TriXie.

This lucky Apprentice will receive round trip airfare to Los Angeles, three night’s lodging, tickets to E3 and an extra $200 of cold-hard spending cash. To enter, readers must submit in writing why they should be the next Xbox.com Apprentice. On what criteria will the entries be judged? Creativity and humor, of course…anything that doesn’t put the judges to sleep.

Note: Contest is closed, links removed.

The folks at Xbox also wanted to show some love to their loyal Xbox Live members and felt that a trip down to L.A and the heart of the E3 action would be the perfect way to do just that! This random drawing contest is open to all current Xbox Live members.

One lucky winner will receive round trip airfare, three nights lodging, a ticket to the show and $250 spending money. Also, Major Nelson and TriXie promise to make sure the winner has access to some of the coolest stuff.
