Thankfully, the drought of new releases is coming to an end. Not only are the next few months looking good for new releases but there is also a planned backwards compatibility update in March along with new arcade games, patches for some of the launch titles, and more that will make the Xbox 360 experience even better. The main focus here is the full 360 games, though, so without further adieu
- Feb 14th Full Auto
- Feb 20th Fight Night Round 3
- Feb 21st College Hoops 2k6
- March 7th Burnout Revenge
- March 7th - Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
- March 13th The Outfit
- March 14th Battlefield 2
- March 20th Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
- March 23rd Blazing Angels: Squadrons of World War II
- March 28th Far Cry Instincts: Predator
*NOTE: These dates are taken from EBGames and may not be 100% accurate
I also want to discuss backwards compatibility a little bit. Quite frankly, I absolutely love it. If you have an HDTV it really does make a huge difference to be able to play your favorite Xbox games in 720p or 1080i. The games load faster and look better (A LOT better in many cases) and it makes the whole experience feel fun and fresh and new again. Youll notice nifty little details you couldnt even see before and get absorbed into your old games all over again which makes the wait for new 360 games a lot easier. Now they just need to make more games compatible and well be all set.
