2010 Xbox 360 Preview
2009 was an awful year for the Xbox 360. 2008 Xbox 360 Game Hype List
Typically, the Winter and Spring seasons are a slow time for the videogame industry. Not in 2008. The sheer number of high profile titles that got pushed from Fall 07 to Winter/Spring 08 is amazing. Sorry folks, your wallet won’t get a break. We take a look at all of the games that we know about coming in 2008 in our 2008 Xbox 360 Games Hype List.

Microsoft E3 2007 Press Conference Recap
With a new, smaller, faster (better?) E3 this year, Microsoft decided to do things a little differently for their press conference. Rather than tantalize gamers with new stuff that is years away, they instead showed games that are actually going to come out this year. A novel concept, I know. It didn’t lead to any real surprises, since we knew most of this stuff already, but you can’t deny that the Holiday 2007 Xbox 360 lineup is looking extremely good.

Viva Piñata: An Amazing Game Doomed By Bad Marketing
Viva Piñata is an absolutely amazing game that stands among my favorite titles on the Xbox 360, but it was seemingly lost in the shuffle during the holiday season. It isn’t really surprising that a niche title like this was overwhelmed by the likes of Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Tony Hawk’s Project 8, Need for Speed Carbon, and all of the rest, but I can guarantee you that it would have sold better if Microsoft hadn’t botched the marketing. We break it down right here.

Rock Band 3 Details (X360, PS3, Wii)
Harmonix is bringing out the heavy firepower for Rock Band 3. While it will still fully support all of your older Guitar Hero and Rock Band instruments, the big news is that it will introduce new instruments such as a real 6-string guitar and a 25-key keyboard. The idea for Rock Band 3 is for it to form a bridge from videogame music/rhythm games to playing real instruments in the real world. W…

Complete Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock Setlist Revealed
Activision has officially revealed the full 90-song setlist for Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. New Kinect Titles Revealed at TGS '10
Microsoft kicked off the 2010 Tokyo Game Show with a keynote speech highlighting a ton of newly announced titles for Kinect. The best news? They are all going to be Xbox 360 exclusive, and many of them are aimed squarely at the hardcore gamer crowd that has, up to this point, seemingly been ignored by Kinect's initial offerings. None of these new titles will be available at Kinect's launch in November, but we'll see them in 2011.

Top 10 Xbox 360 Games of 2010
2010 was one of the best years in recent memory in terms of overall game quality. Selecting our 10 favorites left a few other deserving games off the list, but this list...
