DmC: Devil May Cry Review (X360)

By January 14, 2013

Follow me on:

The short story is that Ninja Theory's reboot of Devil May Cry is a definite success. The longer story is that it is honestly hard not to give Capcom some props for actually keeping the faith throughout development. When DmC was first announced and shown longtime fans of the series jumped all over it. They hated the art style. They hated that Ninja Theory was developing it. And each time something new was shown, the fans had already decided they hated it before even knowing what it was.

For Capcom to hear all of the cynicism and snark from people that were supposed to be their fans, and ignore pretty much all of it, is pretty darn ballsy. The result of that faith in Ninja Theory is a great playing and great looking game that is a great new fresh start for the franchise. We have all of the details here in our full DmC review.
