The Xbox Live Arcade has always been a good service. In 2012, however, it was a great service. How do we figure that? Well, usually when our end of the year Game of the Year discussions start up, there will be one or two digital download titles that come up that we, sometimes, include in the main Xbox 360 GOTY list for that year. In 2012, however, there were so many great and memorable XBLA games that came out over the course of the year that we thought it would be better to, for the first time, give them their own separate list.
