Call of Duty: Black Ops II Review (X360)

By November 24, 2012

Follow me on:

Introducing Call of Duty: The Next One! Thrill as you shoot someone, then someone else shoots you, then you respawn and do it all over again! Truthfully, I'm not quite that cynical about the series yet, but there is no denying that the Call of Duty formula is wearing a bit thin. Black Ops II does make a few tweaks to the storytelling and multiplayer unlocks system that are definitely interesting improvements, but the core gameplay hasn't changed much and the whole experience is starting to be a bit of a grind.  Don't misunderstand, it is still fun, but not nearly as thrilling as it was 4-5 years ago.  We have all of the details here.
