Marvel vs. Capcom Origins falls into a sort of chasm between nostalgia and reality where you want to prove your oldschool mettle and say "These games are still fine and it is fun to see where the MvC series got its start", but on the other hand you can't help but think "Man, I would much rather be playing Marvel vs. Capcom 2 or 3 right now instead". The two games included here - Marvel Super Heroes and the original Marvel vs. Capcom - aren't bad at all, but the 2D fighter genre has evolved quite a bit since these games made their original debuts and they just aren't as interesting as some of the other fighters available on Xbox 360.
