Counter-Strike has been a popular online shooter on PC ever since its release in 1999 despite other games being more flashy or adding things like perks and killstreaks to try and make things more interesting. Counter-Strike just stuck to simple objectives and pure skill-based gameplay and gamers kept coming back to it. Can that tried-and-true formula on PC still work on the Xbox 360? Counter-Strike: Global Offensive for XBLA is Valves attempt to find just that out and after playing it, it seems like it should fit right in among the best multiplayer shooters on the system.
