DiRT Showdown isn't DiRT 4. Lets get that out of the way first. After years of whining from "real" rally fans about the non rally events in the DiRT games, Codemasters has finally given in and split the series between proper rally and everything else. DiRT Showdown is like the shirtless redneck cousin of the blueblood, pinky out, tea drinking, cardigan wearing DiRT series where elegant time trials across the European countryside are entirely replaced with demolition derbies and figure eight races.
