It has been six years since we've had a new proper Ridge Racer title on consoles. A six year (and counting) wait for what used to be one of the most popular series around. Instead of giving us Ridge Racer 8, like everyone actually wanted, though, Namco Bandai decided to release a destruction-focused spinoff called Ridge Racer Unbounded. Once you get over the fact it isn't Ridge Racer anymore, you'll find a sharp looking, fully-featured game that is a bit of a soul crushing grind at times and decent fun at others.
