Rumors have been swirling for a while now and picked up intensity when Sony finally unveiled the PS3 Slim, and Microsoft today officially announced via press release that the Xbox 360 will also be seeing a price drop.
Starting on August 28th, the 60GB Xbox 360 Pro system will drop to $250 and will sell until supplies run out. Microsoft is phasing out the Pro entirely, so grab one while you can.
Bigger news is that the 120GB Xbox 360 Elite system will drop down to $300 - a $100 price drop.
The Xbox 360 Arcade will not see a price drop from $200.

This is gonna be a tough competition between Microsoft and Sony. I thought Microsoft won’t ever compete with Sony’s PS3 and it’s a good thing they decided to lower the price of Xbox. Now, I dunno which console I should buy before Aion Online is launched.
