Capcom has officially announced Dead Rising 2 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. No release date has been given, but we should see it sometime in 2009. It is being developed by Blue Castle Games, but key members of the original Dead Rising dev team, including producer Keiji Inafune, are also working on the project.
Dead Rising 2 will take place in gambling paradise (think Las Vegas) Fortune City. It appears as if the star of the first game, Frank "I've covered wars y'know" West will not return and a new character will take his place. The gameplay will be the same use anything you can find to bludegeon, shoot, slice and dice -style zombie killing as before, which is the important part.

that new guy in DR2 is officially named by CapCom as Chuck Greene.
DUDE!!! both the original DR is a awsome game even though that stupid phone keeps going off. I hope they fix it in this one.
