Slapstic.com Lists 100 Best Xbox 360 Games

Wednesday February 4, 2009
Slapstic.com put together a nice list of their picks for the Top 100 Xbox 360 Games. The list is in alphabetical order and features both retail and XBLA games. Check it out right here:

Slapstic - Top 100 Xbox 360 Games

All in all, it is a pretty good list. I don't think I would have included both games in a series if the sequel is significantly better than the original (Condemned 2, GRAW 2, Skate 2, Saints Row 2, Viva Pinata: TiP, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 are all better than their predecessors). I also would have found room for some under appreciated Xbox 360 exclusives like Culdcept Saga, Chromehounds, or Scene It! Box Office Smash. And where are Uno and Worms, two of the most popular XBLA games?

Still, even with criticisms, a solid list. Just goes to show how many great games we have on the Xbox 360 since we have a list of 100 great games with a few dozen more that easily could have earned a spot. What do you think?

I love the genres listed for the games; each one manages to make humorous, accurate jibe at the game. DOA4’s a “Fighting/Boob Physics Simulator”, Fallout’s a “FPS/RPG/Cross-Country Jogging Simulator”, etc.

The genres alone made it worth a read for me. :)

Street fighter IV is a must-have title for any self-respecting fighting fan. Period. What I like most in Street Fighter IV is the mechanics. The controls feel smooth doing Hudokens and Tiger uppercuts never felt better. SF IV is fun to play alone, on couch with friends or online making it have high replay value.
