The videogame news dam must be in pretty poor condition, because new leaks have been opening up all day today. Most (maybe all?) of this news comes from an online survey and features some tasty tidbits about Microsoft's secret projects coming out this year as well as a couple of future projects from Activision. These still have to be classified as rumors for now, but a lot of it is pretty plausible. I'll just give you the highlights. For the original source of this information and more, check out this thread at NeoGAF.
- Forza 3 - 400 cars, 100 tracks, new race types (drag, drift, oval). Could have a special Limited Edition version that would entitle the purchaser to all future DLC.
- Xbox 360 Avatars - The 360's version of Nintendo's Miis. Much more detailed than Miis. Would take the place of GamerPics.
- Scene It! Pop Culture Edition - Trivia about movies, music, and pop culture.
- Lips - Microsoft's answer to Sony's Sing Star. Comes with 2 wireless microphones with special features. Lips will allow you to sing to your own music.
- Activision News - Lots of Activision news including details on Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Transformers 2, and the announcement of Spider-Man vs. Marvel Zombies. New Tony Hawk game to use a motion sensing board controller on both PS3 and Xbox 360, which implies Activision (or someone out there) is working on balance board controllers.
Like I said, these are all rumors. Definitely check out the NeoGAF thread. We'll find out how much of this is true in a few weeks at E3.
