Eric's XBox Games BlogSoul Calibur Coming to XBLANamco Bandai today announced that the original Soul Calibur will be making its way to Xbox Live Arcade some time this year. There was no mention of online play, but everything from the Dreamcast version should be intact. No mention was made of Soul Calibur appearing on PSN, but the word "exclusive" was nowhere to be found either so I'm not going to jump to any conclusions as far as whether PS3 owners will get a shot at SC.
I know, I know, with Soul Calibur IV on the way, you're thinking "Who cares about a port of a nine year old Dreamcast fighting game". Well, you should care. The original Soul Calibur is still to this day one of the best fighting games ever, and is considered by many to be better than subsequent entries in the series (the jury is still out on IV, obvously). I'm excited. Discuss this topic in the comments. Wednesday April 16, 2008 | comments (0) Display Latest Headlines | powered by WordPress |
