Xbox 360 Backwards Compatability Update - November 2007

By November 27, 2007

Follow me on:

Microsoft released a surprise BC update for Xbox 360 this week that puts the total number of Xbox games playable on Xbox 360 to well over 400. Highlights of the 80+ games added in this latest update include ESPN NFL 2K5, Breakdown, Freedom Fighters, and Armed and Dangerous. This update included a surprising amount of sports games, which seems a bit out of left field considering it seemed Microsoft was only interested in pushing the Xbox 360 versions of all of these games.

Hi Im a fan of Guilty Gear and I live in Sweden. In the past few days I have been seeing alot of people haveing problems with the compatability when I comes to Guilty Gaer X2 #RELOAD. Ir seems that that game dose not work for us who have use PAL discs. I my self have this problem.

It looks like the US dont have the same problem, as I heard from many of my friends from the US.

Im hopeing that microsoft can fix this and make it playable online as well.

The backward compatability is a great feature and I’m glad they have decided to update it with newer games.
I’m impressed that they made a backward compatibility pack for FIFA 07 when the 360 had its own version of FIFA 07 (which was crap, hence playing the older version).
