Back in the summer of 2004, 2K Sports rolled out NFL 2K5 at a bargain price of just $20. Not only was it at the perfect price, but it was also one of the finest football games ever created. EA, creators of the Madden NFL series, countered this threat by simply eliminating it when they snatched up exclusive rights to the NFL license. 2K’s brand of football just disappeared for a while. Now in 2007, 2K is back with All-Pro Football 2K8. Does the 2K style still hold up after three years? And can a roster of legends on fake teams compete with the real NFL? Find out in our full review.

I seriously disagree with this review. How could the author ever say that Madden’s gameplay is better than 2k’s?? 2k5’s gameplay is better than current EA releases. 2k8 is very different from 2k5. The author paints in inaccurate picture when he says it looks like 2k5 with minor enhancements. The only criticism of his that I can agree with is the commentary. It does sound familiar. There are a number of great NFL players to choose from. The trick is which ones are you gonna choose. Obviously this guy isnt a fan or a historian. I give it 4 1/2 stars.
