Peter Moore Leaves Microsoft, Joins EA Sports

In a press release from Microsoft today, it was announced that Peter Moore has resigned from his position as corporate vice president of the Interactive Entertainment Business in the Entertainment and Devices Division, where he led both the Xbox and Games for Windows businesses. Moore will remain at Microsoft through August 2007 to help with the transition to his replacement, Don Mattrick, a former president at Electronic Arts Inc.

This press release from Microsoft was followed by a release from Electronic Arts stating that Peter Moore will join Electronic Arts in September 2007 as President of the EA Sports label.
