Xbox 360 2006 Fall System Update Details

Microsoft today announced that a new system update will be available on October 31st, 2006 that will introduce 85 enhancements for the Xbox 360. Here are some of the key details.

• 1080p resolution support for games and movies
• You can now play video files off of data CDs and DVDs
• You can set your Xbox 360 to automatically download trial versions of new Arcade Games
• New organization options for Xbox Live Arcade games
• Expanded Achievements view for XBLA games so you can see everything from the dashboard rather than going through extra windows
• Support of XNA Game Studio Express so you can play your own created games on your Xbox 360
