There is an absolutely phenomenal article over at Primotech where the author presented his mom with an Xbox 360 and a pile of games and they documented her success or frustration at playing them. She played Prey, Oblivion, Table Tennis, Geometry Wars, and more. Surprisingly, her favorite game was Condemned, which is really pretty cool if you ask me. The biggest problems she had with the games was figuring out the menus and learning the controls and it really goes to show how little things we as gamers don't really even think about anymore can be a big problem for people new to gaming.
