Steel Battalion, Anyone?

EBgames.com has had a bunch of copies of Steel Battalion in lately (you know, the super expensive giant robot game from Capcom with the massive 40 button controller ...) and after coupons you can grab one for about $115. Before you drop the cash on it, though, check out a great little fansite called SteelBattalion.org. You'll learn everything you need to know plus a whole lot more. The game is amazingly fun and well worth the money for giant robot fans.

The reason they have so mny is that most of the casual players who decided to spend the money for the game/controller, also antied up to play online with the “Line of Contact” expansion … which is no longer supported. Now you can only play via LAN. Only the hardcore players with LAN buddies still play.
